Sad ones fail to take away my breath
Dying, of course is easy but comedy is impossibly hard
Poems about nature are written quick and without regard
I want to write something new
Something that’ll change folk’s views
How can I stoke people’s inner fire…
…If I remain uninspired?
Nothing moves in my mind, but the thirst for something unique
An idea that if realized would never be beat.
But as it sits the idea is little more than fantasy
And odds are that’s all it’ll ever be
Melancholy of the unemployed and friendlessI was found there uninspired and tiredMelancholy of the unemployed and friendless by ~Redwritingwarrior
“What am I to do?” in the solitude I inquired
My ‘friends’ had departed and I was recently fired
If only losing a job was harder than getting hired…
Woe is me! being without occupation or friend
When shall this sorrowful time come to an end?
The influence of money is a thing which no man’s will can contend
Anguish is doubled when there is no other with a helping hand to lend
Stuck in a mundane loop; lamenting endlessly with none to hear
Captured held aloft by uncertainty, disappointment and fear
I AM HERE! Wallowing in the dark of despair with no place to steer
With only the hope of light being somewhere near.
Triviality IIHunger is a man’s true enemyTriviality II by ~Redwritingwarrior
It bores a hole straight through me
And makes time tick slower and slower still
As I wait …to gorge my fill
